NOTICE OF LAST DAY OF REGISTRATION FOR THE ELECTION ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2017
Please take notice that a county-wide election will be held in Ann Arbor Township on Tuesday, November 7, 2017. A county-wide millage proposal for public health and safety, and a Washtenaw Intermediate School District special education millage are the items to be voted on. The last day to register in order to vote in this election is Tuesday, October 10, 2017. Voters may register by mail using a mail-in voter registration form or in person at a Secretary of State Branch Office, the Washtenaw County Clerk’s Office or the Ann Arbor Township Clerk’s Office.
Persons entitled to be registered voters in Ann Arbor Township must possess the following qualifications on or before November 7, 2017: 1) citizen of the United States; 2) not less than 18 years of age; 3) a resident of the State of Michigan and Ann Arbor Charter Township for not less than 30 days prior to the election (MCL 168.492). In addition, qualified electors must be registered to vote not less than 30 days prior to the election (MCL 168.497)
Registrations will be received at Ann Arbor Charter Township Hall located at 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, Mon – Fri from 8 am – 4:30 pm.
