Second Reading of Ordinance Amendments to Chapter 70, Utilities “Installation of New Connections”

On July 21, 2025 the Ann Arbor Charter Township Board of Trustees approved the 2nd reading of ordinance amendments to Chapter 70, Utilities, Section 73 “Installation of New Connections” which clarifies situations in which a new dwelling must connect to Township public water service.
The ordinance, now known as Ord. 5-2025, becomes effective on July 31, 2025. The full text of the ordinance is available for review or purchase at the Township Hall, 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI during regular business hours, 8 am-12 pm and 1-4:30 pm, Mon-Fri.
