
The Ann Arbor Township Board will hold a public hearing to receive public input to consider two variance requests on premises zoned A-1, General Agriculture, from the requirements of Sec. 50-28, Parcels of land exempted from this article; permit requirements of Chapter 50, Article II, Private Roads. The variance requests involve four parcels, including the following parcels abutting Warren Rd. and Earhart Rd.: I-09-02-400-009, I-09-02-400-008, I-09-02-400-003 and I-09-02-400-011. The applicant is seeking a variance from the requirement that a shared driveway can only be used when the driveway is to serve no more than two single-family dwelling units. The proposal will use a shared driveway to access up to four lots. The applicant is also seeking a variance from the requirement that a shared driveway can only serve properties that do not adjoin a public road. Parcel I-09-02-400-003 and -011 both adjoin Earhart Rd., and I-09-02-400-009 adjoins Warren Rd.
The public hearing will be held on Monday June 15 at 7:00 p.m. at Township Hall, 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 and also via video conference call. Please visit the Township website at www.aatwp.org for details on how to participate remotely.
The purpose of the public hearings is to receive public comment on the variance request. The variance applications are available for review by contacting the Township Hall during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at 734-663-3418 or emailing clerk@aatwp.org.
