Notice is hereby given that a primary election will be held in Ann Arbor Charter Township on Tuesday, August 6, 2024. The polls will be open from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm at the following location:
Solid Rock Church, 3823 N. Dixboro Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48105
Primary Election is for the purpose of nominating candidates for the Democratic Party and the Republican Party for the following partisan offices: United States Senator, Representative in Congress, Representative in State Legislature, County Prosecuting Attorney, County Sheriff, County Clerk and Register of Deeds, County Treasurer, County Water Resources Commissioner, County Commissioner, Township Supervisor, Township Clerk, Township Treasurer and Township Trustees, as well as elected Precinct Delegates.
Please take notice that Ann Arbor Township will also be voting on the following three Washtenaw County-wide millage proposals:
- Proposal A: Proposition to Authorize the Renewal and Restoration of a 0.50-Mill Road and Non-Motorized Millage to provide funding to maintain, reconstruct, resurface or preserve roads, bike lanes, streets and paths, for four years.
- Proposal B: County Conservation District Millage Proposal for 0.020 mill for six years, 2026-2031.
- Proposal C: Parks and Recreation Facilities Millage Proposal for 0.25 mill for ten years, 2027-2036.

Absentee ballots are available for all elections; registered voters may go online to mi.gov/vote or contact the clerk to obtain an application for an absent voter ballot.
To comply with the Help America Vote Act, voting instructions will be available in audio format. Arrangements for obtaining the instructions in alternative formats can be made by contacting the clerk in advance of the election. The polling location is accessible to voters with disabilities and includes a voter assistance terminal.
