Ann Arbor Charter Township Board of Trustees will hold a PUBLIC HEARING at 7:30 pm on Monday, September 16, 2024 in accordance with the requirements of Public Act 246 of the Public Acts of 1931 as amended on the question of the annual special assessment district for the purpose of defraying the expenses of lighting the streets within Fleming Creek Subdivisions 1 and 2.
The public hearing will take place at Township Hall, 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 and also online. Register here to participate online.
Appearance and protest at the hearing in the special assessment proceeding is required in order to appeal the amount of the special assessment to the state tax tribunal. An owner, party in the interest of, or owner’s agent may appear in person at the hearing to protest the special assessment or may file their protest by letter. Written comments must be received before 4:30 pm on September 16, 2024 at the Ann Arbor Township Hall or via email to supervisor@aatwp.org.
The proposed assessments to cover the period 1/1/2025 – 12/31/2025 are:
- $26.24 for each lot in Phase 1 (Lots 1-76) of Fleming Creek, and
- $24.66 for each lot in Phase 2 (Lots 77-198) of Fleming Creek.
