On January 22, 2024 the Ann Arbor Charter Township Board of Trustees approved the 2nd reading of ordinance amendments to Chapter 14, Article V, Division 1, Section 14-139 Collection of fees. The ordinance amendments impose a municipal civil infraction violation for unpaid fees in order to be able to add unpaid fines for property maintenance code violations to the tax roll for collection.
The ordinance, now known as Ord. 1-2024, becomes effective on January 25, 2024.
