Ordinance Amendment 2nd Reading – Cross connection prevention

On May 20, 2024 the Ann Arbor Charter Township Board of Trustees approved the second reading of ordinance amendments to Chapter 70, Sections 70-43 through 70-45 regarding cross connection control. The ordinance amendments update the code prohibiting cross connections and describe an inspection program to comply with state law.
The ordinance, now known as Ord. 5-2024, becomes effective on June 6, 2024. The full text of the ordinance is available for review or purchase at the Township Hall, 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI during regular business hours, 8 am-12 pm and 1-4:30 pm, Mon-Fri. The ordinance amendments are also posted on the Township website.
