Notice of Public Hearing – Township 2024 Tax Levies and 2025 Budget – October 21, 2024 at 7:30 pm
The Ann Arbor Charter Township Board will hold a public hearing on the proposed Township budget for fiscal year 2024 at their regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, October 21 at 7:30 pm. The public hearing will be held at Township Hall at 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 and also via video conference call. Click here to register to participate online.
The 2024 property tax millage rates approved to be levied to support the budget are: operating millage of 0.7591 mills, plus voter authorized millage of 3.3405 for public safety (fire and police services), and projected voter authorized millage of 0.6644 for farmland preservation for a total levy equal to 4.764 as set forth by the Tax Allocation Board (or as authorized under state law and approved by the electorate and subject to any state required rollbacks or adjustments). Estimated tax revenue for the authorized 4.764 mills is $3,434,000. This notice is posted in compliance with PA 267 of 1976 as amended (Open Meetings Act), MCLA 41.72a (2)(3) and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
