The Ann Arbor Township Board will hold a public hearing to receive public input to consider a variance request on premises zoned R-2, Single-Family Suburban Residential. The variance request involves three parcels, including 3800 Warren Rd. Ann Arbor Township, Michigan, 48105; an abutting parcel directly to the southeast; and a parcel on Pontiac Trail that abuts the other parcels at the rear (Parcel numbers I-09-09-100-012, I-09-09-100-032, and I-09-09-100-021). The applicant is seeking a variance from the requirement that a shared driveway cannot be located on a parcel that abuts a public road in Sec. 50-28, Parcels of land exempted from this article; permit requirements of Chapter 50, Article II, Private Roads. They are proposing to create one new lot from the southern end of two existing lots, and accessing the two interior lots with shared driveways that are located on a parcel that abuts Warren Rd. in one case, and Pontiac Trail in the other.
The public hearing will be held on Monday, August 19 at 7:30 pm at Township Hall, 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105 and also via video conference call. Register here to participate remotely.
