The easiest way to search for a tax parcel is to enter the number of the street address in both street number boxes, then select the appropriate parcel if more than one comes up.

FIVE PAYMENT OPTIONS:

1. In person or placed in the locked drop box

Located by the front door of Township Hall at

3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105

Office Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Payments placed in locked drop box after 4:30 pm are credited to the next business day.

2. Automatic ACH Bank Transfer

Please print, complete mail this application along with a voided check to Township Hall at 3792 Pontiac Trail, Ann Arbor, MI 48105, Attention Treasurer.  It also can be put into the drop box outside our front door.  If you have sent in a similar form for paying your utility bills, thank you – and please know that we need a separate application for your property tax payments.  Email Township Treasurer Carlene Colvin-Garcia at treasurer@aatwp.org with any questions.

3. Mail

Please allow enough time for delivery before the due date.

Postmarks are not honored.

4. Pay at Bank of Ann Arbor

All Bank of Ann Arbor offices will accept tax payments if accompanied by the tax bill.

5. Pay Online

Pay by credit card, debit card or electronic check. Visit aatwp.org/tax to look up your bill and follow the prompts to pay. You may repeat the process to add multiple tax bills to your cart before making a payment.

 

The processing fees for each payment type are:

Credit/debit card-3% with a minimum $2 fee

Electronic Checks up to $10,000-$3 fee

Electronic Checks over $10,000-$10 fee

Summer Taxes

Summer Taxes are sent by July 1 and are due by 5:00 pm on September 15, 2025.

1% penalty added per calendar month, or any portion of a calendar month to taxes not paid on time

Deferment of summer taxes is available for taxpayers with total, permanent disability and other circumstances as prescribed under state law

Winter Taxes

Winter Taxes are sent by December 1 and are due by 5:00 PM February 16, 2026. A 1% penalty added per calendar month, or any portion of a calendar month to taxes not paid on time.

All voted millages for the County are levied on the Winter Tax bill. The Winter Total millage to be levied is 3.1856. Details on the millages can be found here: Washtenaw County Millage Rates

Deferment of winter taxes is available for taxpayers with total, permanent disability and other circumstances as prescribed under state law

Escrow

If your taxes are escrowed, please contact your escrow holder or check the Township website to ensure tax payment has been made.
